This undisturbed heath land, criss-crossed with footpaths, is home to a myriad of wildlife including badger, fox, peregrine falcon, hen harrier, heron, wild fowl, and a profusion of flowers, butterflies and dragon flies in the Spring and Summer – a pair of Barn Owls live in a nearby barn. For those that have bikes, boards, or other equipment there is ample storage.
